Monday Expectations: What do you need and What to Wear

The team room will be open right after school—do not wait until 4 PM to arrive. You need to change and be ready before workouts begin. The team room is located across from the football field on Erickson Ave, through the teachers’ parking lot.
What to Bring & Wear:
1️⃣ Athletic Clothes & Shoes If you do not have Softball Aire– We will be running and jumping on Day 1. No Tank Tops or Crop Tops. The weather should be fair but could be cool, so dress accordingly.
2️⃣ Refillable Water Bottle – Hydration is key!
3️⃣ Glove – We have loaner gloves, but they aren’t great. You need your own. A used glove is usually better than a new one—look for a Fastpitch or Women’s Model (not baseball or Little League). Check FB Marketplace or Play It Again Sports for affordable options.
4️⃣ Hair Tied Back – Keep it out of your eyes. Bring hair ties or headbands.

Storage for Gear:
If needed, you can leave your bag in the Athletic Department or the Office during the day. After Monday, you’ll be able to store your gear in the team room.
Be prepared to work hard and give your best effort. Attitude, hustle, and energy are just as important as skill. See you at tryouts!
